The Position:

Opportunity for an experienced IT leader in a new position of Head of School (Information Systems) to provide academic leadership, assist with the implementation of strategic plans and ensure that courses of study are delivered effectively to ensure a positive student experience.

You will have responsibility for managing all academic areas of the School of Information Systems. Reporting to the Dean, the role will be to manage all academic staff (full-time, part-time and sessional) in the School of Information Systems and ensure all relevant academic governance activities are in place. The Head of School will be considered a “champion” for scholarly activity and be expected to play an active role in external academic and professional activities to enhance the reputation of the College.

The Head of School will be expected to play a significant role in ensuring compliance with the HESF2021 and the relevant ESOS National Code standards whilst ensuring that all courses within the School are contemporary, modern and innovative in preparing students to be equipped learners.

The position will work closely with the Dean to ensure a cohesive approach is applied across all academic functions of the School of Information Systems. The role will require a teaching component.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development of  comprehensive and pedagogically sound learning material
  • Lead the evaluation of program and course curricula
  • Provide leadership, promoting an accountable, collegial, student-centred culture
  • Take ownership of the relevant components of the OGSM, T&L Plan and Strategic Plan and embed goals and measures within performance goals for academic staff
  • Establish and maintain a strong culture of academic scholarship and engagement
  • In conjunction with the Dean, develop strategies for successful academic onboarding of new students, and provision of course-specific transition advice for final-year students
  • Contribute to the induction of new academic staff, ensuring the School is sufficiently resourced with teaching staff to ensure a SSR of 30:1 is maintained at all times
  • Monitor institutional key performance indicators (KPI’s) and academic governance key indicators
  • Develop sustainable partnerships with key external stakeholders
  • Teaching of selected units.

This role will require the incumbent to perform the duties in the physical office unless otherwise agreed with the Dean and/or CEO. At the direction of the company, this role may from time to time be required to work remotely (away from the physical office location). Regardless of work location key targets, tasks, goals and projects must be delivered in accordance with the position description and area or entity OGSM (Objective, Goals, Strategies and Measures).

  • Qualification required: AQF10 qualification in an Information Systems related field

The Global Admissions Assessor is primarily responsible for the pre-assessment of new applications for all international students to Accelerate partner institutions globally. The Global Admissions Assessor understands the educational systems of the countries which source international students to the relevant global partner. The role also has the responsibility of understanding the relevant genuineness/GTE of the partner institution and conducting pre-assessment with these requirements in mind.

  • Pre-assessment of applications from partner institutions in Australia, including GTE assessment
  • Pre-assessment of applications from partner institutions from other locations, including genuineness assessment
  • Maintaining effective relationships with partner institutions, education agents and other clients
  • Coordinating with other departments and offices across all EduCo/Accelerate Institutions
  • Monitoring sales pipeline and improve sales conversion to achieve target
  • Maintaining assessment turnaround times as directed by the manager from time-to-time

The Operations Officer will need to understand the educational systems of the countries which source international students to partner Universities. The role also has the responsibility for dealing with CSO/RM’s and having effective communication with course coordination of the University International Office and Institution Relations Managers.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Data entry for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Applications
  • Data Integrity checks to ensure data entered matches the documents provided
  • Process the applications and respond to inquiries within the required turnaround time
  • Provide a customer-focused quality evaluation and advisory service to prospective and current students, agents and the public, generally on all aspects of the University’s admission requirements, policies, procedures and entry pathways
  • Be accountable for data integrity of student records in the Salesforce, University Website and any other systems
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge with changes in relation to international qualifications, education systems and institutions’ credentials
  • Assist the Global Admissions Team as required
  • Forwards Updates from Portal, letter of offer, letter of acceptance and any other admission documents to relevant  EduCo recruitment/conversion staff with the aim of rapidly converting students
  • Updates enrolment status of students in Salesforce, from application to commencement
  • Generates customized reports as per requirements of relevant manager.

The Position:

The primary purpose of this role is to support achieving the Acsenda School of Management and Arbutus College enrolment targets by ensuring students are receiving the key information needed at each stage of the recruitment cycle to facilitate and support student decisions and support the institutions with the processes for admission, enrolment, and transition to their educational experience in Canada. 

Yield rate targets will be met through: 

  •  Total number of unique contacts for every student that has received an offer
  • Total number of students who paid the deposit based on an assigned region (Philippines and SE Asia) 
  • Meeting visa applications, as well as visa approval goals through hosting webinars, one-on-one advising, and engaging directly with all offshore staff, focused on student conversion
  • Data accuracy and efficiency in answering inquiries.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Overall

Carry out an overarching strategy to maintain or increase the yield rates in each enrolment stage: 

  • App to Paid/Commit
  • Paid/Commit to Visa App
  • App to Enrolment
  • Paid/Commit to Commence
  • Work closely with Admissions/Registrar teams to ensure the student engagement processes align with the obligations and services of each campus regarding admissions policies and regulatory compliance

Early Conversion Stage

  • Regularly communicate with agents who have the most number of admitted students that are sitting in the offered status for more than five days
  • Assist in scheduling one on one meetings with students who require further guidance
  • Coordinate webinars/in-person events for Admitted Next Steps sessions.

Mid-cycle Conversion

  • Identify a priority list of students based on their current admission status
  • Supporting students with information regarding study permit preparation (Noting that immigration advice cannot be provided without special certification).

Final Conversion Stage

  • Ensure that arrival details for all students with visa grants are entered in Salesforce
  • Report issues to Recruitment Directors and Campus Leadership for review regarding agents whose students transfer upon arrival in Canada.

 Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure that communication to prospective international students follows the International Education Code of Practice in that information includes clear, sufficient, and accurate information enabling students to make informed choices about the services provided.

  • Minimum one year’s experience working in university admissions/enrolment management (required) 
  • Demonstrated history of engagement with international students and/or foreign cultures (required)

The Position:

Reporting to the Senior Vice President SCU Partnership, the Recruitment Manager Onshore role is responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of contracted channel partners and directing student applicants to achieve the target budgets for Southern Cross University campus in Melbourne to train agents and students to achieve the onshore new student enrolment targets.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develop, manage and grow a portfolio of agents aligned with recruitment targets
  • Recruit ‘right fit students’ and educate contracted channel partners in this regard
  • Creation and execution of individual account plans with each agent
  • Develop new ideas and strategies to achieve and maintain our competitive position
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Southern Cross University.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of legislative requirements as they pertain to the recruitment of international students, including GTE
  • Maintaining records and reports of client interactions, performance and negotiations.
  • Maintain a strong and collaborative working relationship with the Admissions, Academic and Student Services Teams to foster an environment of service excellence.

 

About You:

This role will suit candidates with mid-level experience, preferably in tertiary international education or finance, insurance, or technology industries.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (essential)
  • Experience in dealing with International Students and recruitment agencies in the designated area of market
  • Technology savvy and proven experience using online sales platforms
  • A demonstrable understanding of digital marketing and other non-exclusive channel sales
  • International education market knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Experience working with sub-continent market will be highly regarded
  • Understanding of the legislative framework within which the international education industry operates, including GTE
  • Well-developed ability to initiate and manage business relationships across cultures
  • A natural sales driver who is self-motivated and achievement orientated
  • Experience working with Sub-continental markets would be highly valued.

The Position:

The primary purpose of the Recruitment Manager (RM) is to increase the volume, quality and diversity of students enrolling at EduCo’s partner universities in the USA and Canada in accordance with targets for the assigned regions of responsibility. To achieve this, the successful candidate will be responsible for account management of the local agent network to increase agent productivity in terms of applications and enrolments to partner universities.

Primary Recruitment Territory: Students, families and study abroad agencies in Vietnam, especially Ho Chi Minh City.

Secondary Recruitment Territories: Students, families and study-abroad agencies in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. Travel to visit agency partners in these countries may occur 1-2 times per year.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

1. Agent Relationship Management

  • Maintain excellent relationships with current recruitment agents within the region(s) of responsibility
  • Grow the number of active agents to exceed application and enrolment targets
  • Provide ongoing training, product information and relevant university promotion to agents, in line with agent tiering system, incentive programs and Key Account Management (KAM) plans

2. Recruitment and Promotion

  • Organise participation in agent, government, feeder events and specific university promotional events including seminars, interview sessions and exhibitions (where approved) in line with business needs
  • Attend and represent EduCo USA and Canada at industry networking functions
  • Manage involvement in social media campaigns in coordination with Directors of Recruitment and EduCo Marketing.

3. Client Liaison

  • Provide proactive and responsive communication with clients (agents, parents, feeders and students) regularly through the recruitment cycle to maximise conversion rates from enquiry, application, acceptance and commencement in line with the overall Conversion process
  • Conduct conversion reporting on outstanding applications and contact students, feeders and agents via email, social media channels, and phone to progress the application to the next step in the enrolment process.

4. Feeder Institution Relationship Management

  • Initiate and maintain active relationships with feeder institutions (high schools/bachelor’s programs)
  • Initiate recommendations and introductions for recruitment programs such as scholarship arrangements, articulation agreements and ongoing promotional activities with feeders.

5. Research, Reporting, Administration and Compliance

  • Gather feedback on market conditions including competitors, industry trends and opportunities for EduCo USA/Canada to inform marketing strategy and to increase recruitment numbers
  • Manage approved regional marketing budget provisions and accurately report expenditures
  • Ensure agents comply with all regulatory requirements and have access to appropriate information for them to maintain compliance.

 

About You:

Qualifications, technical skills, and experience required for this role include:

  • Relevant Diploma/ Degree in Business or Marketing
  • A proven track record of success in achieving sales budgets through non-exclusive channel sales (essential)
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience in education or similar service industry (essential)
  • Existing networks of education recruitment agencies and feeder institutions (preferred)
  • Ability to undertake frequent local and international travel
  • Language abilities suitable for the region(s) of responsibility.

The Position:

Reporting to the Financial Controller – Australia & Ireland, the Assistant Accountant is responsible for managing, controlling and processing Accelerate Accounts Payable & Accelerate Accounts Receivable, ensuring that invoices are processed, payments are made on time and invoices to university partners are issued accurately. The Assistant Account will support the preparation of financial data supporting the integrity of General Ledger and involves GL reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.

This role is offered on a fixed term full-time basis for a period of 12 months commencing from June 2023.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Assistant Accountant duties include:

  • Processing of Agent’s commission invoices and payments
  • Respond to Agent enquiries in a timely manner
  • Preparing and sending student lists to each university partner to confirm actual enrolments for each intake
  • Sending university partner invoices for the confirmed enrolments for each intake and managing the collections process
  • Process the following transactions in Student Management System (RTO TEAMS): student refunds, student deposit transfers, invoice adjustments and  check invoices for accuracy and ensure that correct study periods are correct in revenue calculations
  • Reconcile receipts in Student Management System to bank and perform bank reconciliation for the Trust bank account
  • Overseas Study Health Cover (OSHC) scheduling and processing
  • General Ledger reconciliations for Student Refund clearing, Unallocated Receipts, Receipts in Advance and OSHC Clearing
  • Financial processing and reporting including assisting with: month-end accounts preparation and analysis, journals into the accounting system (Sage X3), general ledger reconciliations, monthly BAS statements and year-end audit process
  • General ad hoc tasks and analysis- as requested by Financial Controller – Australia & Ireland.
