Primary purpose:

The purpose of the Regional Manager is to drive agent uptake of the Accelerate platform to generate enrolments into our  partner institutions. 

 

Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

1. Develop productive business relationships with current and prospective recruitment agency partners

2. Communicate the features and benefits of Accelerate to all levels of staff within partner agencies

3. Provide induction and ongoing platform training to partner agencies

4. Act as the primary contact point for agents seeking support in using the platform

5. Provide training on the Accelerate institutions and how to prepare applications for submission through Accelerate

6. Provide reports and market intelligence including trends, opportunities and agent feedback

7. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the local recruitment environment

 

Qualifications, experience & technical skills:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing recruitment agency relationships

  1. Agent Relationship Management
    • Maintain excellent relationships with current EduCo /AC/ASM recruitment agents within region(s) of responsibility
    • Grow the number of active agents to exceed budgets
    • Management and growth of agent productivity tiering (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Emerging)
    • Provide ongoing training, product information and relevant AC/ASM promotions for agents, in line with agent tiering system, incentive programs and Key Account Management (KAM) plans
    • Research, analyse and recommend new agency agreements for signing
    • Monitor agent and student feedback and report to EduCo to assist product and service development

 

  1. Recruitment and Promotion
    • Research and provide recommendations for annual regional Recruitment Plans, recruitment and marketing activities and expenditure budgets
    • Organise participation in agent, government, feeder events and AC/ASM focused promotional events including seminars, interview sessions and exhibitions where approved in line with business needs
    • Attend and represent EduCo/AC/ASM at industry networking functions
    • Research and report on the effectiveness of marketing and promotional campaigns (return on investment)
    • Manage regional involvement in social media campaigns in coordination with VP Recruitment and EduCo Marcomms as approved by campus management

 

  1. Client Liaison
  • Provide pro-active and responsive communication with clients (agents, parents, feeders and students) regularly through the recruitment cycle to maximize conversion rates from enquiry, application, acceptance and commencement in line with overall Conversion processes
  • Action conversion reporting on outstanding applications and contact students, feeders and agents via email, phone to progress the sale and report on follow up actions implemented
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and relationships where relevant, with in-market Government organizations including embassies, trade commissions and visa offices

 

  1. Feeder Institution Relationship Management
  • Research and identify institutions with potential to supply students into AC/ASM for recommendation to campus management
  • Initiate and maintain active relationships with feeders
  • Initiate recommendations and introductions for recruitment programs such as scholarship arrangements, articulation agreements and ongoing promotional activities with feeders

 

  1. Research, Reporting, Administration and Compliance
  • Compile regular agent and student recruitment reports to monitor student numbers against target
  • Gather feedback on market conditions including competitors, industry trends and opportunities for EduCo/AC/ASM to inform marketing strategy and to increase recruitment numbers
  • Manage approved regional marketing budget provisions and accurately report expenditure
  • Ensure agents comply with all regulatory requirements and have access to appropriate information for them to maintain compliance

  1. Agent Relationship Management
    • Maintain excellent relationships with current recruitment agents within region(s) of responsibility
    • Grow the number of active agents to exceed application and enrolment targets
    • Management and growth of agent productivity tiering (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Emerging)
    • Provide ongoing training, product information and relevant university promotion to agents, in line with agent tiering system, incentive programs and Key Account Management (KAM) plans
    • Research, analyse and recommend new agency agreements for signing
    • Monitor agent and student feedback and report to EduCo to assist product and service development

 

  1. Recruitment and Promotion
    • Research and provide recommendations for annual regional Recruitment Plans, recruitment and marketing activities and expenditure budgets

    • Attend and represent EduCo USA at industry networking functions

  • Provide proactive and responsive communication with clients (agents, parents, feeders and students) regularly through the recruitment cycle to maximize conversion rates from enquiry, application, acceptance and commencement in line with overall Conversion process
  • Conduct conversion reporting on outstanding applications and contact students, feeders and agents via email , social media channels, and phone to progress the application to the next step in the enrollment process
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and relationships where relevant, with in-market government organizations including embassies, trade commissions and visa offices

 

  1. Feeder Institution Relationship Management
  • Research and identify institutions with potential to supply prospective application for recommendation to EduCo USA leadership
  • Initiate and maintain active relationships with feeder institutions (high schools/bachelor’s programs)
  • Initiate recommendations and introductions for recruitment programs such as scholarship arrangements, articulation agreements and ongoing promotional activities with feeders

  • Compile regular agent and student recruitment reports to monitor application and enrollment generation progress compared against targets

The successful applicant will drive higher yield rate of admitted students across all USA White-Glove partners through (1) regular student check in’s via phone calls; (2) schedule a virtual meeting to assist in the next steps of the enrollment process; (3) Work alongside with the Regional Manager, Vietnam and Associate Director, Recruitment to identify specific priority student lists based on certain application/enrollment statuses; (4) Collaborate with Campus Coordinators to ensure that all students are guided properly as well as provide an opportunity to speak to a university representative.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

OVERALL

Create an overarching strategy to maintain or increase the yield rates in each enrollment stage:

  • Admit to commit
  • I-20 to Visa Appointment
  • Visa Grant Rate
  • Admit to Enroll Rate
  • Commit to Commence

 

EARLY CONVERSION STAGE

  • Regularly communicate with admitted students who have not yet made the next steps. (e.g., accept the offer, paid the deposit, request for I-20)
  • If necessary, collect financial documents & financial verification forms and submit it to the coordinator for I-20 processing.
  • Assist the campus coordinators in scheduling a one on one meeting with students who require further guidance.

MID-CYCLE CONVERSION

  • Through the direction of the Manager of Enrollment and Conversion, identify priority list of students based on their current admission status
  • Identify risks in terms of student conversion (e.g., poaching of other schools, visa interview availability, flight availability)
  • Assist in student visa interview preparations
  • If the student declines their admission, move the status of the record in Salesforce and enter the institution/destination that the student chose.

FINAL CONVERSION STAGE

  • Collect visa interview dates and enter all information in Salesforce
  • Collect the arrival details for all students with visa grants & enter it in Salesforce
  • Mitigate the risk of transferring upon arrival by monitoring student reactions during their conversation.

 

Position Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Year over year increase in new student enrollments from India to each partner university
  • Total number of committed (deposit paid) students (all partners)
  • Number of calls made to students each week
  • Average Call Handling Time
  • Number of I-20’s who books a Visa Appointment
  • Total number of enrolled students in a given period of time
 

Qualitfications, Experience and Technical Skills:

Required qualifications, technical skills and experience for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in international recruitment/university admissions (required)
  • Demonstrated history of engagement with international students and/or foreign cultures (required)
  • Familiarity with I-20 process & U.S. F1 Visa Application

 

Preferred qualifications, technical skills and experience for this role include:

  • Ability to fluently speak most Southern India languages (e.g., Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Tulu, Kodava Takk, Konkani) required

    • Research and provide recommendations for annual regional Recruitment Plans, recruitment and marketing activities and expenditure budgets
    • Organise participation in agent, government, feeder events and AC/ASM focused promotional events including seminars, interview sessions and exhibitions where approved in line with business needs
    • Attend and represent EduCo/AC/ASM at industry networking functions
    • Research and report on the effectiveness of marketing and promotional campaigns (return on investment)
    • Manage regional involvement in social media campaigns in coordination with VP Recruitment and EduCo Marcomms as approved by campus management

 

  1. Client Liaison
  • Provide pro-active and responsive communication with clients (agents, parents, feeders and students) regularly through the recruitment cycle to maximize conversion rates from enquiry, application, acceptance and commencement in line with overall Conversion processes
  • Action conversion reporting on outstanding applications and contact students, feeders and agents via email, phone to progress the sale and report on follow up actions implemented
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and relationships where relevant, with in-market Government organizations including embassies, trade commissions and visa offices

 

  1. Feeder Institution Relationship Management
  • Research and identify institutions with potential to supply students into AC/ASM for recommendation to campus management
  • Initiate and maintain active relationships with feeders
  • Initiate recommendations and introductions for recruitment programs such as scholarship arrangements, articulation agreements and ongoing promotional activities with feeders

 

  1. Research, Reporting, Administration and Compliance
  • Compile regular agent and student recruitment reports to monitor student numbers against target
  • Gather feedback on market conditions including competitors, industry trends and opportunities for EduCo/AC/ASM to inform marketing strategy and to increase recruitment numbers
  • Manage approved regional marketing budget provisions and accurately report expenditure
  • Ensure agents comply with all regulatory requirements and have access to appropriate information for them to maintain compliance
  • Ensure all marketing and promotional activities conducted on behalf of AC/ASM are ethical and comply with all relevant local, international and company-wide legislation/policy and campus specific approval processes in line with regulatory obligations
