Southern Cross University enrolment growth a result of collaborative efforts

Enrolment for Southern Cross University’s Melbourne, Perth and Sydney campuses as of March 2019  has grown considerably compared with the same period last year.
Southern Cross University is one of Australia’s top “Young Universities” under 50. It has been cited for research excellence by the Australian government’s ERA (Excellence in Research for Australia) and has exceeded the national average for teaching quality and student satisfaction in the Australian government’s QUILT survey. Its Sydney, Melbourne and Perth branch campuses offer personalised student support for the unique needs of international students. This means small class sizes, modern facilities, meticulously structured programs, industry engagement and student-centred teaching from highly qualified teaching staff.
EduCo operates and manages the three campuses starting with Sydney which was established in 2013, Melbourne in 2016 and Perth in 2017. It conducts academic courses on behalf of Southern Cross University in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Teams working together

Ben McCully, senior vice president for Southern Cross University Partnership

Senior Vice President for the Southern Cross Partnership Ben McCully says that the phenomenal growth in enrolment is “a result of the collective effort of the different teams involved in the process from recruitment to admissions to student services to the teaching staff.” He adds that current students and alumni giving positive feedback on their study experience is the best endorsement for the university because potential students trust the opinions of their peers.
Ali Butt, EduCo vice president for Sales & Marketing

For his part, as head of EduCo’s student recruitment and agent management group, Ali Butt agrees. He points out that “the teams behind Southern Cross University have done a fabulous job of presenting each of the three campuses especially to education agents and future students.” He specifically cited the recruitment efforts of Tier 1 education agents in converting student interest into enrolment and thanked them for their part in the process.
Southern Cross University offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in business, business administration, professional accounting and information technology.
