The International Security Studies (ISS) program combines the disciplines of history, mathematics, computer science, political science, and international relations to prepare students for today’s security and intelligence architecture.

ISS students will also learn conflict management together with its ethical, religious, social, economic and legal dimensions. Graduates of the ISS program will be equipped for careers in international security, intelligence operations, risk & crisis management as well as cybersecurity.

MS in Biomedical Engineering

The MS in Biomedical Engineering (MS BME) program is designed for both full-time students and working professionals in the healthcare industry. Students are thrust in research and engineering design with opportunities to work with accomplished faculty.

MS BME graduates will have engineering design and innovative expertise that can be useful for the academe, for the government or for other health-related institutions.

MS in Higher Education Administration

The MS in Higher Education is an online program designed to make leaders out of professionals in the higher education sector. It teaches students the crucial areas of enrolment management, facilities management, admissions, technology, marketing and many others. It also exposes students to external factors affecting the industry like regulation and the legal environment as well as financial or economic changes.

The program includes two practicum experiences, a mentoring experience, and a final capstone project.

MS in Supply Chain Management

The MS in Supply Chain Management prepares students to manage a global supply chain with a comprehensive understanding of supplier-, manufacturer-, distributor- and customer-relationships. Graduates are equipped to spot opportunities in the delivery of products or services and to initiate innovation in their chosen industries.

The program is a mixture of classroom and online sessions. Its curriculum can lead to a Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.

Duquesne University also recently launched two 30-credit, fully-online programs, namely MS in Management and MS Sports Business.
