Merit based scholarships announced at Southern Cross University agent events

Southern Cross University is reinforcing its focus on attracting high-achieving students. Graduate employability and ongoing scholarships are just two of the topics discussed in the recently-concluded agent events held in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The merit-based scholarships aim to reward students who are doing very well in their studies. This initiative will also assist education agents in bringing in the right fit students to Southern Cross University’s Sydney, Melbourne and Perth campuses.

Southern Cross University will be launching its Career Edge Program in November to prepare students to be job-ready. The two-year program aims to provide students with real world, high value internships so that they can build industry connections and graduate with the skills and confidence to go after their dream jobs. It will be delivered in partnership with Australia’s leading employability specialist Readygrad.

EduCo’s key executives attended the events, amongst them SVP for SCU Partnership Ben McCully, SVP for Global Marketing Adam Roberts and VP for Sales and Marketing Muhammad Ali Butt.

Key partners in attracting the right fit students

Recognising that education agents are the University’s key partners in achieving its goal of attracting the right fit students, Ben McCully thanked them for their commitment and assured them of the best quality education and support provided to students.

Southern Cross University is ranked by the International Student Barometer (ISB) as  #1 in Australia for International Student Support. ISB is the global benchmark for demonstrating excellence in the international student experience.
