Why study in the USA?

Almost half of the world’s top 50 universities are American institutions and with more than 5000 universities and colleges to choose from, finding the right school and degree is easy.

Many of the world’s most successful companies—like Walmart, Apple, Berkshire Hathaway and ExxonMobil—are found in the United States. These corporate giants, along with emerging start-ups, create thriving job markets that employ talent from all over the world.

American businesses such as Google, Microsoft, IBM, Apple and Intel continue to provide the world with innovative products and services. And the foundation for this innovation is provided by the country’s educational institutions.

Mass migration in the 19th and 20th centuries has resulted in a culturally diverse and welcoming nation. Today, the U.S. is home to almost 200 nationalities.

With more than 5,000 universities and colleges, the country’s higher education system is also a global powerhouse, offering a rich field of study options for students, as well as a unique cultural experience and enormous career potential on graduation. The U.S. continues to be the leading destination for international student education.

The U.S. is culturally and racially diverse, with the country shaped by large waves of immigration throughout its history.
