Seattle Pacific University is strategically located in Seattle, being just a few minutes away from the bustling city centre. Over 50 engineering companies are operating in greater Seattle which is critical to attracting global talent in areas such as data analytics, big data, hardware and networking software, aerospace, e-commerce, finance, gaming, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and consumer internet.
SPU uses the city of Seattle as an extension of the classroom, providing students with limitless opportunities to acquire the skills needed to thrive in the global workplace and gain valuable work experience. Seattle Pacific University is an EduCo International partner university.

The university offers 69 undergraduate and 29 post-graduate degree programs, delivered by expert faculty in small classroom settings with a low student-teacher ratio of 13:1. Among SPU’s the notable graduates are author of the Bible translation The Message Eugene Peterson, inventor of the Perl computer language Larry Wall, Prozac inventor and scientist David Wong, entrepreneur and co-founder of In-N-Out Burger Esther Synder, world cross-country champion and Olympian Doris Heritage, and Boeing’s Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations Jenette Ramos.
