UNL Programs Ranked 47th by U.S. News and World Report

bigred2-e1445225452549In the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report, UNL maintained its position as one of the nation’s top public universities. According to the publication’s 2016 rankings, UNL checks in at No. 47 among public universities and was tied with four other institutions at No. 103 when considering all national universities, public and private, that offer a range of undergraduate majors as well as master’s and doctoral degrees.
In addition to the overall rankings, UNL boasts a number of highly-ranked academic programs on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. For example, UNL’s College of Business Administration ranks in the top 15% of undergraduate business colleges, coming in at No. 61 out of the 472 institutions that were evaluated. UNL also boasts the No. 17 Criminology and Criminal Justice Program in the country according to U.S. News and World Report and a Top 50 Journalism College as evaluated by College Media Matters.
