Acsenda shifts focus into bachelor’s degree programs

Acsenda President Neil Mort

Acsenda School of Management President Neil Mort has announced that they will be suspending new enrolment for three diploma and certificate programs, namely: Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Acsenda will be focusing on its bachelor’s degree program offerings. This new direction came on the heels of trends that the institution has observed in the last few years. “We have been receiving a great deal of interest and success with our bachelor’s degree programs in Business Administration and in Hospitality Management, and have found that the vast majority of students who originally enrol in the diploma/certificate programs decide to change into a bachelor’s degree within their first few terms of study,”  Mr Mort says.
He adds that Acsenda will honour any commitments made to students who are currently enrolled in the above-named certificate and diploma programs or have been accepted to start before 31 October. Students will be able to complete their certificate or diploma program in the normal fashion. If they decide, however, to transfer to one of the degree programs, students should contact the Admissions Office to complete a program transfer form.  “There is no charge for this service, or for the updating of any documents required,” Mr Mort points out.
“Acsenda offers students the option to transfer the credited units, which means that they can actually complete a full degree program in the same time it takes to take a diploma program,” he adds, expounding further that a Canadian degree provides much greater benefit for both career and immigration opportunities in Canada upon graduating.
