AT A GLANCE
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is part of the University System of Maryland, which comprises 12 institutions, and is recognised as a leader in academic and research excellence, innovation, and economic and workforce development. Through EduCo, students are able to study one of the more than 70 postgraduate programs available, in areas including engineering and information technology, natural sciences and math, social sciences and education, as well as humanities and arts.
At UMBC, students will find a diverse and engaged community, where students and faculty come together to learn and advance knowledge. Students can expect to be challenged and thrilled by their studies, while they work side by side with faculty, mentors and researchers.
There are two intake dates each year: Fall (August) and Spring (January).
