EduCo partners with Duquesne University

EduCo International Group is pleased to announce its latest partnership with top-tier private university Duquesne University. The partnership will give international students greater opportunity to study at the Pittsburgh-based institution that has recently been ranked at number 120 in U.S. News & World Report’s National Universities list.

Duquesne is renowned for its academic programs, service to the community and commitment to sustainability. Students will be able to enrol in one of the nine schools of study that offer more than 80 undergraduate and 85 postgraduate programs.

Dr Joseph DeCrosta, Director of the Office of International Programs at Duquesne University, says the institution “is very excited to work with EduCo International to help expand and refine our international admissions and recruitment efforts around the world”.

With nearly 10,000 students enrolled, international students will find themselves at home in Duquesne’s small campus that the Princeton Review has described as uniting “the diversity and opportunities of an urban university with the community and comfort of a small liberal arts college”.  Diversity is something that Duquesne values immensely; it welcomes diversity amongst its student cohort, faculty and staff as the University’s founders believed in welcoming all and excluding none.

Situated in the heart of Pittsburgh, ranked as the most liveable city in the United States in 2014 by the Economist Intelligence Unit, students will benefit from a welcoming atmosphere and numerous professional development opportunities. Of recent graduates, Duquesne University’s Office of Career Services’ Graduate Outcomes Survey found that 70 per cent were professionally employed with 93 per cent of those individuals working in a position related to their major.

For Duquesne University, the partnership with EduCo means they will be able to work with the company’s extensive network to grow their international student community through the creation of specialised resources, programs and activities designed specifically for international students.

“We are confident that this relationship will not only be productive but also an authentic collaboration of like-minded professionals with the larger goal of making students’ dreams come true,” Dr DeCrosta explains. “EduCo’s philosophy and approach to student recruitment and support aligns well with Duquesne’s mission of providing an education for the mind, the heart and the spirit for students across the globe with varied interests, talents and cultural backgrounds”.

EduCo’s first international student cohort will commence at Duquesne University in spring 2018.
